People of Lakes States are celebrating the newly created states and the appointed governors, confirms the Apostolic Coordinator of the Diocese of Rumbek.
Fr John Mathiang tells CRN that the security situation in the Diocese of Rumbek which has four states is improving.
People received the two states and Governors of Imotong and Namurunyang with joy and they continue with their unity, according to Monsignor Thomas Oliha, Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
The 28 states should not be for the division of the people, but for taking services to people, says Fr Jacob Odwa Paul, Secretary-General of Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
