There will be no shortage of clean water in Juba by the end of 2016, says the Minister for Electricity, Dams and Irrigation.

Jemma Nunu Kumba says construction of new water treatment plant and a pipeline started along the River Nile, Radio Bakhita reports.

She says the treatment place will produce over ten thousand cubic litters of water to resolve problems in Juba.

Juba County head chief Denis Daramolo Fundi last week appealed to the government to intervene and lower the high prices of water in the town.
