Let us be peacemakers not peace spoilers, says Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Bishop of Kajo-Keji Diocese.
In his New Year’s message, Bishop Anthony Poggo quoted the Gospel of Matthew as saying ‘Blessed as the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God’.
He wishes all South Sudanese a happy New Year, a year full of God’s blessings and peace.
The Bishop prays that Christ will grant to the people of South Sudan peace.
He in his Christmas message earlier said ‘as we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ; let us remember that Christ, the Prince of Peace, expects us to do all we can to work for peace and reconciliation in our nation’.
