The administration of Catholic Diocese of Wau has formed a committee to participate in a celebration in honour of the Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako in February 2016.
Presiding over the Eucharistic celebrations at Holy Family Nazareth, Vicar General Fr Germano Bernardo appeals to Christians to contribute for the representatives, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
In the ceremony, Cardinal Zubeir will hand over Khartoum Diocese to a new bishop.
Fr Bernardo says Cardinal Zubeir deserves honour for serving the Sudanese people.
The celebration will be on February, 27, the priest discloses.
The Church and some people of goodwill in Wau are planning to invite Cardinal Zubeir to Wau after the celebration in Khartoum, Sudan.
