SPLM-In-Opposition are in Juba

The SPLM-In-Opposition on Monday arrived in Juba.
 
The first plane carrying 15 members of the advance team, particularly members of the media, protocol and security personnel arrived at 5:00 PM.
 
The second plane which carried over 135 officials including the Chief Negotiator Taban Deng Gai arrived at 7:30 in Juba.
 
Hassan Ramadan Loku says the opposition is back to Juba for the implementation of the peace deal.
 
I would like to welcome them to the South Sudan capital city, says Akol Paul Kordit, the government committee spokesman for the reception of the Opposition.
 
He reiterates government’s commitment to implement the peace agreement for final peace in the country.
 
It is a positive step towards the implementation of the agreement, says Akuot Ajang, South Sudan Civil Society Alliance Chairperson.
 
He calls for trust among the people.
 
Mr Ajang discloses a plan to carry out civic education to the grassroots on the agreement.
