Radio Easter 94 FM resumed its broadcast on Saturday after nearly two months off air.

Technical problems forced the station to close down, says Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, the station’s Director on Monday.

He thanks listeners and partners for their patience, prayers and solidarity.

Catholic Bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe stressed on Sunday the need for citizens to support the radio at different capacities.

The Radio is a tool in evangelization and national transformation, the Bishop explains.

Radio Easter is one of the Catholic Radio Network stations in South Sudan.

Its motto is ‘The Voice of Truth and Life’.

The Radio was earlier struck by lightning which damaged the transmitter.

It is now using its new transmitter while the old one has also been repaired in Italy.
