Christmas carol at Presbyterian Church, Torit town came to a standstill for an hour on Saturday after a girl set herself a blaze in petrol fire at a neighborhood.
Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Pastor, Peter Leiwat Oduho, an eye witness says he abandoned preaching to rescue the girl.
Pastor Oduho calls for measures to control use, storage of petrol to avoid damages and harm to human life.
Oduho reveals the fire sparked off when a member of the Church youth used petrol to set up charcoal stove for preparing porridge.
The wounded girls were rushed for treatment at Inter-Church Committee Clinic in Torit town.
