Yei Mayor signed into law a bill that cancels land leases and contracts under the county authority.
The bill was signed into law after the municipal legislators passed it, Radio Easter reports.
Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba said the private sector whose contracts were cancelled are given three months to revise or renew their contracts.
The Mayor also signed into law a bill for the establishment of five blocks with their quarter councils including Yei town, Pakula, Ronyi, Gimunu and Yangkonye blocks.
The laws are effective from December 16, 2015.
