The coins of one and two South Sudanese Pounds are underway, Central Bank Governor announces.
Kornelio Koriom says the coins will help in stabilizing market prices, Radio Bakhita reports.
Governor Koriom denies claims that the Central Bank has abandoned circulating the coins into the market.
He says reformation of South Sudan’s foreign exchange rate policy encourages the use of coins in long run.
Some coins were introduced on July 9th this year, but remain unseen in markets.
