People in Wau say hip-hop music should not be encouraged in the state because it is associated with gang stars call {niggers} and that the group has bad dressing style.
 
But Julu Paulino Wanawilla, also known as Ukupere, says music can be used to send reconciliation and peace messages, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Derick Uya Alfred of the Arts Commission in Wau says the musicians should sing meaningful songs in local languages and dress well before their fans.
 
Sandra Ujidio agrees, what makes her hate the hip-hope is their immoral way of dressing while singing.
 
Adison Arkangelo says having a musician at home means a peaceful family.
 
He tells the citizens that it is the message in the song that matters most.
 
They made the comments during a music forum organized by the Arts And Culture Commission in the State Ministry of Health.
