Civil society organizations in Wau ask for the relocation of SPLA from residential areas.

Stephen Robo, a civil society activist says soldiers have turned against the population, they are supposed to protect, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

They are looting and beating civilians, he says.

Robo says the SPLA should not harass traders and customers on their way to the markets.

Local Government Minister, Angelo Taban earlier this month said some residential areas are criminal hideouts.

He recommended the state to deploy SPLA in residence.
