Relatives of the sick refuse to donate blood to their anaemic family members, Administrators at Kiir Mayardit Women’s Hospital say.
Laboratory technician, James Dhieu Thon, says the relatives decline to donate blood to needy women, Radio Good News reports.
He says three women died of anaemia recently because no volunteers appeared to give blood.
Dhieu also complains that people send the sick to hospital without attendants.
The hospital is forced to feed patients without attendants, he says.
Nurses volunteer to wash clothes of unaccompanied patients, Dhieu adds.
Kiir Mayardit Hospital lacks blood bank for saving anaemic pregnant women.
