The State Ministry of Health is targeting 80 percent of Wau population for treated mosquito nets in 2016.
Distribution assistant, John Baptist Abakar, says there will be training and registration for the campaign in December this year.
He explains that, block administrators will oversee the distribution process in each block.
The campaign targets pregnant women and children who are at more risk of malaria, says the official.
