Legal advisors in the Ministry of Justice take bribes for service, says the minister.

Justice Paulino Wanawilla Unango says he has evidence of bribery cases in the ministry, Radio Bakhita reports.

He believes the employees may be corrupt because of trying to cater for many wives and children.

Justice Wanawilla also observes that some South Sudanese take themselves above the rule of law.

The Minister reminds the legal professionals that whatever goes on in secrecy is known.

He cites cases of prominent government lawyers writing letters, asking for bribes to render service.

Minister of Justice was speaking during the opening of a month long training of Public Prosecution Attorneys in Juba.
