Tonj East Student Union celebrated peace and unity with the youth in Tonj South County in Warrap State.
Union Chairman Aguer Wek Manyuon said the celebration aimed to encourage primary pupils do well in the exams and pass to secondary schools, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He called on young people to show peace and harmony among communities in order to minimize crisis in the country.
Wek called on youth to abandon revenge killing, unite and embrace peace as one community of South Sudan.
He congratulated President Salva Kiir Mayardit for making Tonj a state.
He urged his fellow young people to talk as brothers and sisters to resolve grievances in a good manner whenever problem arise.
