Community Empowerment for Progress Organization Executive Director launched journalists’ safety fund in Juba on Tuesday.
Edmond Yakani says on the same day CEPO mobilized seven hundred South Sudanese Pounds for training and providing safety equipment to local journalists.
He appeals to all embassies in Juba, business communities and government institutions to contribute money to train journalists and provide them with safety equipments.
The launch was on the second day of the conference on ending impunity against journalists.
