Apostolic Administrator of Torit Catholic Diocese encourages citizens to make good use of rains by cultivating food crops to lessen hunger.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha calls on South Sudanese to plant more crops to reduce threats of food shortage in the country, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
He calls on the international community and the government to help people hit by hunger in the country.
 
Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore, three months ago, declared the state hunger stricken.
 
Ikwoto County Commissioner Peter Lokeng also reported death of three people related to food shortage situations.
