Abyei Administrative Area is re-echoing its unanimous 2013 referendum vote to join South Sudan.
The oil rich region occupied by Dinka Ngok and Arab Messiriya tribes is contested between South Sudan and Sudan.
The referendum resulting in 99 percent loyalty to South Sudan remains unnoticed.
But Area Chief Administrator Dr Chol Deng Alak sees their destiny in South Sudan even now.
The administrator hopes for improvement of living conditions in South Sudan.
He believes in peaceful co-existence with their neighbouring Arab nomads.
Dr Deng calls for Abyei people in Diaspora and South Sudan to return home for development.
