Eastern Equatoria State Deputy Prisons Director releases a report ranking Torit the first in capital offences compared to other counties.
Brig General Ajak Gurech Anyang on Wednesday during Rule of Law Forum at Equatoria Guest House announced that at least 18 inmates including a female are on death sentence, two convicts on life imprisonment sentence and 115 others imprisoned for several offences.
He says Torit Prison also chains five male and two female foreigners as well as 11 juveniles.
The report indicates that Magwi County Prison has 75 inmates including 12 others on remand and three juveniles.
Ikwotos County Prison has 78 inmates with 57 convicts including two juveniles and 16 others on remand.
Kapoeta South County has 66 inmates comprising of 25 males, three females, three juveniles, three foreigners and 30 others on remand.
Kapoeta East County prison has 32 inmates with 15 males and one female convict, 14 males and two females on remand.
Lafon-Lopa County Prison contains 61 inmates including 52 males and two females.
Budi County Prison records four inmates ranking the least in offences in the state.
