CRN Board of Governors hails partners for cooperation

Catholic Radio Network or CRN Board of Governors has appreciated CAFOD and Trocaire partners for cooperating with the Network.
 
CRN Board of Governors’ representative Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit made the appreciation remark during a conclusion of five-day training of trainers on news editing which ran from Tuesday to Friday in Juba.
 
Participants’ representative Brother Louis Jere commends trainer Ilona Eveleens for the course, calling on colleagues to put the skills learned into practice.
 
CAFOD and Trocaire Programme Officer John Mangar Angok calls on the trainees to implement the new skills and ideas they gained in various radio stations for effectiveness and efficiency.
 
Trainer Ilona Eveleens applauds the participants, instructing them to invite her for follow up training of radio station staff in near future.
 
CRN Director Enrica Valentini earlier on reminded the station directors to have better understanding of their news desks staff to provide guidance on basic skills.
 
The participants in the training include Radio Bakhita Director Josephine Achiro, Director Lillian Ochoo of Radio Emmanuel, Brother Louis Jere of Radio Don Bosco, Batista Illario of Radio Voice of Hope, Joseph Ziazia of Radio Anisa, Norbert Otieno of Good News, Fr Emmanuel Lodongo of Radio Easter and CRN News Editor Alfred Soka.
 
United Kingdom Foreign Common Wealth Office in the UK Embassy in Juba funded the five-day training through CAFOD and Trocaire.
