The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday while celebrating St Anthony Day challenges young people to be productive to cease over dependency on others.

Bishop Santo Loku Pio says persons above 18 years old should engage in productive activities to help their communities and the country as a whole instead of begging or getting free things all the time, Radio Bakhita reported.

The prelate challenges young people to emulate the simplicity and diligence of St Anthony to desist from satanic pride that is destroying South Sudan.

The St Anthony Day celebration was marked at Holy Trinity Chapel of St Joseph’s Parish in Juba.
