New airline joins South Sudan aviation business

A new airline company, Atlas jets in the country to resume flights from Wau to Juba to compete with Golden Wings Company in operation since 2014.
 
Atlas airline Director Deng George Achuil says passengers boarding with them will pay 1,650 South Sudanese Pounds instead of 2,000 Pounds for business class in Golden Wings, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
Passenger William Bataku says the new flight fare is still too expensive to afford considering the current economic crisis.
 
Golden Wings Airline Company this week increased its fare from 750-1,200 to 2,000 Pounds for the business class.
