Tonj East communities accepted to reconcile following Warrap State government intervention to the communal conflict which claimed 94 lives and wounded 144 youth.
Deputy Governor Abraham Gum Makuac told Radio Don Bosco in a telephone interview that all communities accepted to resolve their differences which was just a mistake of few individuals and brought suffering to many people.
He disclosed that they formed a committee to monitor the situation and report to the state government for quick action in case of any problem.
The Deputy Governor appeals to Warrap State communities to embrace peace rather than fighting each other to enjoy dividends of the new state.
