AMDISS enlightens journalists on media laws

Association of Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS supported by Albany is training journalists for three days in Yei River County on media laws and ethics.
 
AMDISS Chairperson Alfred Taban in his opening remarks says the training that brings together reporters from different media houses from Yei, Morobo, Lainya and Kajo-Keji counties of Central Equatoria aims at enlightening journalists on the media laws and ethics for better performance, Radio Easter reported.
 
The veteran journalist urges the training journalists across the country to stick to ethics in reporting to avoid troubles.
 
The AMDISS Chairperson calls on the national security to let journalists enjoy their rights since they are all working for national welfare.
 
The training which is expected to conclude on Saturday will equip journalists on the recently signed media laws.
