Traffic Police says the rate of accidents in Juba is high due to careless driving and over speeding.
Traffic Police Officer John Athian says eight people were injured on Juba Airport road on Wednesday when a commercial cyclist or Boda-boda motorist overtook a car, resulting into accident as the driver lost control.
The official advises drivers to be alert at all times because their job is concerned with human lives.
He says drivers should repair their vehicle before using.
A survivor of the accident, who was in front seat, says the vehicle brake broke down; causing loss of control.
