East African Heads of States are expected late November to decide on South Sudan’s application to join their Community or EAC.

Presidential Advisor on Economic Affairs who headed government’s delegation to Tanzania Aggrey Tisa Sabuni said the leaders will inform President Salva Kiir whether his membership application was accepted or not, Radio Bakhita reported.

He says the government would first sensitize South Sudanese masses and it be up to them to decide through a referendum on the EAC membership.

The Presidential Advisor made the remakes during Radio Bakhita’s ‘Wake-up Juba’ talk show on Thursday.
