South Sudan Land Alliance in partnership with International Land Coalition is expected to meet on Friday to strategize on lobbying for enactment of national land policy.
Alliance Programme Coordinator Savior Wodcan Lazarus told Radio Bakhita that they shall form a focal group to follow up the Land Policy Bill which took years in the parliament.
He says they will lay strategies on how to lobby and push for the Policy Bill to be passed into law.
Mr Wodcan revealed that the Land Policy, if passed, will help activists advocate for the rights of poor citizens in the country.
A half-day assembly is expected to attract 30 participants from Land Formation Group, civil society organizations and line ministries from Central and Eastern Equatoria, Warrap, Upper Nile and Jonglei States.
