Governor Lobong applauds President Kiir for creating more states

Eastern Equatoria State Governor praises President Salva Kiir Mayardit for creating twenty-eight states in the country with two in Eastern Equatoria.
 
Louis Lobong Lojore in a statement on Saturday after the declaration of the creation order read over SSTV, congratulated the president describing his decision as ‘humble and bold’, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
He supports the creation of new states to ease service delivery in respect to SPLM vision of taking towns to rural areas, calling on citizens to stand by the president.
 
Governor Lobong notes that Eastern Equatoria deserves more than two states, adding that the people would have made their proposals and contribution in naming the states.
 
President Salva Kiir on Friday evening issued an order creating eight states for greater Equatoria, namely: Imatong, Namurnyang, Jubek, Terekeka, Yei River, Maridi, Gbudwe, and Amadi.
 
He divided greater Bahr El Ghazal into being ten states: Wau, Aweil, Ngor, Aweil East, Twic, Gogrial, Tonj, Eastern Lakes, Western Lakes and Gok.
 
The President also partitioned greater Upper Nile into ten states including Leer, Northern Guit, Rwueng, Eastern Nile, Jonglei, Western Nile, Eastern Bie, Latjor, Boma and Western Bie.
