South Sudan Police Spokesperson on Friday confirms that unknown armed men gunned down two traders of Eagle Money Transfer Company operating at Customs in Juba on Thursday evening.
Colonel James Monday Enoka tells CRN in a telephone interview that he received a report that the incident happened at around 6:30 PM when the fallen traders were on their way home after business.
He says the incident was linked to robbery where thousands of cash money was reportedly lost besides the two lives.
The Police Spokesperson on behalf of police conveys condolences to the bereaved families of the traders.
Colonel Monday says police is still pursuing the perpetrators at large to bring them to face justice.
