Mock exams for primary eight pupils started on Wednesday in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Tong South Payam Education Supervisor Justine Lual Madoor says the pupils are sitting in four centers, Radio Don Bosco reported.
Kalkuel head teacher Marko Makol Maluk said 114 pupils including 27 girls are sitting for the mock exams, adding that those who missed without permission would not be allowed to attend classes.
Mary Ayak Mathiang, one of the candidates, says the first subject they sat for was somehow, expressing hope to pass when the other papers continue like that manner.
Tonj South County mock exams which started on Wednesday are expected to conclude next Tuesday.
