SPLA Spokesperson says Intergovernmental Authority on Development is organizing a training workshop on the security arrangements and the implementation of the ceasefire agreement for both warring forces in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Colonel Philip Aguer on Wednesday told CRN in a telephone interview that the SPLA high command is expected to send four officers to Addis Ababa this week to join the Opposition candidates for the workshop.
The Spokesperson said President Salva Kiir and the government negotiating team on Tuesday briefed the army command on the peace deal implementation.
Colonel Philip Aguer says they did not receive any security situation briefings on the ground, hoping that the situation in the country remains calm.
