Archbishop Lukudu to share with Pope South Sudan’s situation

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba on Tuesday pledged to share with the Pope the situation of South Sudan for the Holy Father to pray and bless the young country.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro on his way to Rome, Italy prior to departure at Juba International Airport said he was going for medical checkup and discuss pastoral activities with Pope Francis, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
The Archbishop welcomes President Salva Kiir and Dr Riek Machar signature of the agreement to end the suffering of South Sudanese, appreciating parties, IGAD and international community’s efforts to bring peace to the country.
 
Archbishop Lukudu called for collective hard work in the implementation of the agreement, urging all South Sudanese to accept each other and live together as brothers and sisters.
 
The Catholic Archbishop of Juba Paolino Lukudu Loro is expected to return to Juba in October.
