Yei Catholic Bishop inaugurates Holy Trinity Parish

Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday inaugurated Holy Trinity Parish in Toligga Magor area of Morobo County, detaching it from Christ the King Parish administration.
 
While presiding over the Eucharistic celebration, Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe hails the congregation of Silesians of Don Bosco for the gift of priests in the Diocese, Radio Easter reported.
 
The Bishop calls on Morobo County Local Government to provide security to the priests serving the new parish of Holy Trinity to enable them continue their mission in the diocese and the nation at large.
 
Holy Trinity Morobo Parish Priest Jacob Thelekkadan says they are grateful to take charge of the new parish.
 
Yei Catholic Diocese Vicar-General Fr Zachariah Angutuwa expresses happiness and that the local church would work together with missionaries.
 
The Superior General of the Silesians of Don Bosco in South Sudan and Sudan Fr Joseph Polka called for parishioners’ collaboration, expressing their readiness to support the diocese in its development.
 
Hundreds of Christians and government officials attended the inauguration on Sunday.
