United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS peacekeepers arrested three members of community police in Malakal, Upper Nile State accused of shooting one of the internally displaced persons.
The Council of Security, Peace and Reconciliation for Civilians’ Safety Chairperson in Malakal Matthew B Chol said he would meet UNMISS State Coordinator to resolve the matter, Radio Sawt al Mahabba reported.
Mr Chol disclosed that two of the community police members are admitted in Malakal Hospital for treatment.
