St Joseph Parish priest in Yei Catholic Diocese on Sunday baptized 99 infants and charges parents to take proper care of the children in the will of God.
The 99 infants include 22 from St Matthew, Lutaya center 32, St Nicholas nine and St Cecilia 36, Radio Easter reported.
Fr Joseph Arike Eugenio calls on parents to regularly bring their children to church to grow in the light of God, telling them to avoid abusing children rights.
He also advises parents to show good examples to the children for them to stay safe from criminal activities including theft and fighting.
The priest also urges Christians to always listen and put the word of God into practice and keep away from dark doings, arguing that some Christians regularly move for prayers but their acts are contrary to the word of God.
