Japan Ambassador graduates 50 returnees in Wau

Japan Ambassador to South Sudan on Monday graduated 50 male and female students who underwent four-month technical course at Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
 
Ambassador Kiya Masahiko expressed happiness for being in Wau, appreciating Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre Principal for contributing in national development through various skills, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
Don Bosco Principal Fr Sunel Orathel explained that the graduates acquired skills on computer, carpentry, electricity, tailoring and welding.
 
Graduates’ representative Lalaka Johannes thanked the Japanese government and the United Nation for Development Program or UNDP for their support, pledging to put into practice the knowledge they gained for the betterment of the state and nation at large.
 
The graduation ceremony was the second Japanese Government and UNDP supported in Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre where graduates were awarded certificates and given tools to facilitate their self employment.
