Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs influx seeking treatment worsens medical situation in Malakal UN camp following an arrival of more than nineteen thousand of them in July.
 
Malakal Medicines Sans Frontiers or MSF Project Coordinator Victor Escobar in a statement on Monday said victims urgently need a sanitary space to live and access medical care.
 
He warns that there are signs of severe worsening health situation as the number of patients in the camp doubled or tripled for some diseases since June.
 
The Project Coordinator observed that the number of malaria and diarrhoea cases every week almost tripled compared to June.
 
He said they begun distributing plastic sheets and mosquito nets as a temporary emergency measure but access to appropriate, calling for improvement of additional living space to prevent further deterioration of the health situation.
