St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator English Choirs of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Sunday celebrated 35 years of existence and services.

Auxiliary Bishop of Juba Santo Loku Pio urges youth to remain in one denomination, cautioning that some youth pretend to be Catholic while their deeds do not match Catholic teachings, Radio Bakhita reported.

He called on young people to be frank in their denomination in order to serve the Lord fully for their names to remain in the archive of the church they are in.

Bishop Loku disclosed that soon there would be by-laws to guide all Catholic youth in the Archdiocese in order to determine their faith.

He advises the youth to avoid copy-pasting songs from others, urging them to be innovative and compose their own in order to compete with the rest of the world.

One of the founding members recalled that the first choir master Mario Lolos initiated English Choir and some few members in 1975 and came to its full swing in 1976.

He explained that the 35 years celebration aimed to remind English Choir initiators of their long struggle and hard work in the Cathedral.
