Travelers abandoned road from Magwi County to Lamwo District via Ngomoromo over sheer fear following border point conflict.
Eastern Equatoria State Assembly Speaker Tobiolo Oromo notes though the people returned to their farmlands, both sides still fear from one side to the other, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The speaker says he initiated talks with Lamwo District to resolve the standoff and resume peaceful co-existence and that Magwi County and Lamwo District leaders would form delegation to deliberate on grievances.
Speaker Tobiolo discloses that government officials from the two have to talk to the youth and encourage them to engage on agriculture to avoid border disputes, urging communities to leave boundary issues to Uganda and South Sudan governments.
