Jesuit Refugee Service trains secondary teachers

At least five South Sudanese students sponsored by Jesuit Refugee Service or JRS completed two years training at Muni National Teachers’ College in Arua, Uganda. 
 
JRS Education Coordinator Sister Elizabeth Waraga on Tuesday presented Paul Zino Bamongoyo, Cirillo Mohinigamo, George Kosa Angelo and Moses Wegedi who graduated with diploma in secondary education to Western Equatoria Education Minister in Yambio, Radio Anisa reported.
 
Sr Waraga urges the graduates to advocate for teaching profession among the youth.
 
Education Minister Pia Philip Michael congratulates the new teachers, urging them to demonstrate their talents on the ground.
 
Student representative George Kosa Angelo thanked the state Education ministry and JRS for helping them to study a crucial subject abroad.
 
Student Johnson Fuokpio is expected to graduate on September 15.
