Wildlife authority in Lantoto National Game Park in Yei River County says they are expected to receive a huge number of wild animals migrating from its neighbouring Karamba Game Park of DR Congo from late August to September.

Lantoto Game Park Warden Colonel Joseph Taban attributed the migration to the huge amount of rainfall in the area, Radio Easter reported.

He disclosed declining rate of poaching at the park due to two countries’ game rangers continuous patrolling.

Lantoto Game Park Warden said the animals migrating to South Sudan include elephants, buffalos, giraffes and hippopotamuses.
