Radio Good News inaugurates solar power

Radio Good News of the Catholic Radio Network in Rumbek, Lakes State on Saturday launched the solar power system to enable the station run for 19 hours every day.
 
The Station Director Norbert Otieno during the occasion said the solar brought light to the Radio and that lack of fuel would no longer affect Radio Good News, disclosing a plan for it to operate 24 hours.
 
Rumbek Catholic Coordinator Fr John Mathiang said the Diocese continues to stand tall since the bishop died and that the Holy Spirit is guiding it moving with three legs of evangelization, development and education.
 
Radio Good News solar power inauguration attracted Catholic Radio Network Director, Enrica Valentini, Director of Radio Bakhita in Juba Josephine Achiro and Director of Radio Emmanuel of Torit Diocese Lillian Ochoo and Lakes State government officials.
