Official calls for ‘self protection’ from HIV infections

Yei River County HIV and AIDs Commission Chairperson is telling South Sudan citizens to embrace self protection to prevent further spread of the virus.
 
The County focal person, Issa Chris Gordon, also tells persons living with the virus to stick to their treatment and avoid defaulting, Radio Easter reported.
 
He says the HIV prevalence is increasing when people go for test, adding that an average of 42 new people living with the virus are monthly enrolled for treatment.
 
The focal person calls for funds to run awareness activities to the masses.
