CEDED trains women on human rights and governance

Centre for Democracy and Development or CEDED on Monday completed three-day training for Women Associations in Lainya County of Central Equatoria State.
 
The training was to equip women with skills on human rights issues, peace building, conflict mitigation and their participation on governance.
 
CEDED’s Program manager Dara Felix outlines the recommendations reached at the training.
 
He said women also resolved to have 25 percent representation in the County Legislative Council, calling for urgent peace realization in the whole country.
 
The three-day training on human rights, peace building, conflict mitigation and women participation on governance concluded on Monday.
