South Sudan Governors and Chief Administrators of Greater Pibor and Abyei Areas on Friday after a one-day meeting on peace process said getting slow and lasting peace is better than to rush and sign a document that would create more problems.

Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore on behalf of states leaders warned that the IGAD plus proposal would definitely not bring peace if signed the way it is.

The Governor criticized IGAD’s statement that ‘the negotiating teams would not leave Addis Ababa, Ethiopia this time without signing agreement by August 17’.

Governor Lobong expressed government’s commitment to correct its sort comings that led to current crisis.
