SPLM-N to expand collaboration for change in Sudan

SPLM-North leaders declared their readiness to collaborate with armed groups, Islamists, opposition parties and tribes in order to reach comprehensive negotiations with the Sudanese regime.
 
SPLM-N Chairman Malik Agar, Deputy Abdelaziz Al Hilu and Secretary-General Yasir Arman in a statement said their position is to cooperate with Islamists for ‘limited change’ of the rule.
 
The party’s meeting held from July 30 to August 5, adopted a new military plan to counter Sudan’s military campaign against SPLM-N positions.
 
The leadership pledged to work together with Islamists interested in political change.
