Primary and Secondary School students on Monday resume classes after ten-day of break down due to previous clashes that forced many people out of Yambio town.
Abangite College Principal Fr Joseph Migidi says many students returned and teachers started giving lessons in preparation for the second term exams next week, Radio Anisa reported.
He appealed to parents and guardians whose children did not report schools to send their children to their instructions centres.
Yambio County Commissioner Hussein Enoka visited Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology and re-assured students of stability in the county, advising people not panic when they hear gunshot.
State Education Minister Pia Philip Michael confirmed that many schools reopened in Yambio and that soon students of Maridi Girls’ Boarding School would return as the situation is coming to normal.
