South Sudan Law Society in Yei Municipality on Wednesday’s Radio Easter talk show educated citizens on their constitutional duties in public resources management.
South Sudan Law Society Legal Aid Officer, Data John Losukwa quoted the National Transitional Constitution article 46 as saying ‘citizens have duties to monitor what is being approved for community use whether by the government or any organization’, Radio Easter reported.
The Society Paralegal Lagu Benjamin appealed to citizens to channel public resource mismanagement through their MPs or local leaders for better clarification.
