Sudan People Liberation Movement for Democratic Change or SPLM-DC called on the Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD mediators to give pressure to the government to allow the party to participate in the peace talks in Addis Abba, Ethiopia.

Dr Lam Akol Ajawin siad they are not aware of any reason of their suspension from going to Addis Abba and that opposition parties accepted the IGAD Plus Compromise Peace Agreement proposal, Radio Bakhita reported.

He urged the mediation team not to focus on the power sharing that would not serve the interest of South Sudanese, but allow technocrats to run the affairs of the country during the interim period.
