Radio Easter resumes on air operation

Radio Easter 94 FM of the Catholic Radio Network in Yei Catholic Diocese resumed its normal operations following a week off air due to damages inflicted by lightning strike.
 
During the signal testing, on Saturday evening, some listeners hailed efforts of the network and the administration for working hard to put back the Station to its broadcast.
 
Last week, the Radio received a reserve transmitter from CRN Centre and an Italian technician installed it on Saturday evening.
 
The lightning strike left some damages on the transmitter and its sound card, two desktop computers and the VSAT internet system.
 
The administration is working hard to repair some of the damaged equipments of the station.
